One of my favorite ways to organize my recipes is a DIY recipe binder. I’ve been using this simple version for several years now. It’s one of the most downloaded items on the blog, so you guys must love DIY projects too!
If you’re anything like me, you print recipes out all the time. I’m constantly finding new recipes that I want to try on Pinterest. A binder is an easy way to organize all the recipes that I print.
Keeping recipes in a binder makes it easy to add recipes frequently and remove the ones that you don’t like. The categories can be easily changed too, giving you more options than you would have with a standard cookbook.
Cooking at home saves me a ton of money and keeping my recipes organized keeps me on track with meal preparation. I created this binder for spring, I like the bright cheery colors. This print adds a burst of color to my kitchen.
Quick And Easy Recipe Binder
You’ll need a three-ring binder with an insertable front cover slot and sheet protectors for divider page sheets and recipes. I have a free cover sheet and dividers you can print out, or let the kids help you make one with some colored pencils and stickers.
How does it work?
You can type up some of your favorite recipes, or print some out from your favorite recipe site or Pinterest. Slide the recipes into the sheet protectors and then if something spills on it, it easily wipes up.
Simply place all the sheets in the binder. In the back and front of the binder are pockets. This is where you can put recipes that you want to try or new ones that you don’t have time to file. I created some fun printables for the cover, and each of the categories to share with you. All you have to do is download the files and print them out.
Let me know how yours turns out.
