Summer is finally here, and I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to travel. Sometimes at work, I’ll daydream about laying by the pool with a good book and a cold drink at a luxurious hotel on the beach.
Of course, I don’t want to pay the luxury hotel prices for my dream vacation; I want to have money left over to have a nice dinner and have some fun.
Ebates has a new feature that helps people like me make my travel dreams come true.
Shoppers can already get up to 40% cash-back on purchases from more than 2,000 retailers, including things to help with travel, like car rentals and airfare.
But Ebates just sweetened the deal even more by adding hotels to the list.

Here’s how you can use Ebates Hotels to Get 5% Cash Back
With this new feature, you can earn 5% cash-back on every hotel stay that you book directly through Ebates. That’s a lot of money compared to the other deals that are out there.
Here’s what the competition gives you:
- Hotwire Hotels: 4%
- Priceline Hotels: 4%
- Travelocity Hotels: 4%
- Booking.com: 2%
- Expedia Hotels: 1.5%
If you check the special deals available on Ebates regular site, the hotels only offer between 1% to 4.5% back.
Let’s say, for example, that you want to stay the night at the Hilton. You would get 2% cash back if you booked your stay through Ebates regular site. But that same hotel booked through Ebates Hotels would pay you 5% back on the price of the room excluding any taxes or fees.
How does Ebates Hotels compare to other travel sites?
I searched the Hilton Charlotte City Center in Charlotte, NC for the same Saturday night in June on several popular travel sites.
- Kayak: $124
- Hilton: $126
- Trivago: $129
- Expedia: $129
- Travelocity: $129
- Ebates Hotels: $120.43
The price shown for Ebates Hotels reflects the rate after the $9.06 cash back is taken out. Your savings won’t be at the time you book your hotel; it will be in the Big Fat Check that you receive from Ebates.
